This month I joined Sarah Robertson-Barnes on her podcast Sustainable in the Suburbs to chat about my version of “kinda eco mom” life — the wins, the trade-offs, and everything in between.
We talked about the little shifts that make a big difference — cloth diapering, secondhand shopping, gift-free birthdays, and how community plays such a big role in living more sustainably (and sanely).
This episode is all about what sustainable living actually looks like when you’ve got small kids, a budget, and a busy life. It’s real, it’s honest, and it’s proof that you don’t have to be perfect to make a difference.

Meet Jessica Nakamura — East Gwillimbury realtor, girl mom x3 (twins included), audiobook addict, and the person who accidentally went viral for killing weeds with baking soda. She believes buying or selling your home should feel less overwhelming and a lot more human. She brings a no-nonsense, get-it-done energy to every client she works with.
